Shanghai Mei Long Zhen Restaurant

I had the opportunity to dine at Mei Long Zhen Rest. yesterday in Shanghai. The restaurant was set up in the spring of 1938 and has a 60 year history. The place was pretty fantastic tucked away in a side street right on Nanjing Xi Lu. The dishes were fantastic and I truely enjoyed my meal. I have to rate it as one of the better meals that I have had in China. I forgot to take photo's of the dishes *was to eager to munch on it!* hehehe I will the next time. Took some photo's of the entrance but I can't seem to get it uploaded *I blame it on shitty China net connection which pisses me off 9 out of 10 times, reminds me when TM NET just started streamyx shit service!*

Although the restaurant was a little expensive * 200RMB minimum per head* but it was well worth every penny! I swear! A definate must for food fanatics who drop by Shanghai.

I am off to Shanghai again 8 a.m tomorrow for a week or two. Kinda looking forward to it, there is a whole new world in China! More pics and updates once I get there.

today @ lunch went to the mamak joint near the office....had a drink and left my phone there... 2 minutes later it was gone....spent most of the day thinking where my lovely nokia would be right now..... *curse the SOB that took it!!*

Long week

It has been a long week, been busy travelling which is good in a way.... *no complains in that department!*
